STOCKMEIER France

Our new CSR report for 2022 – 2023 has been published

As a distributor of chemicals and formulator of hygiene and disinfection products, as well as the operator of 7 Seveso-classified sites, STOCKMEIER France stores and handles potentially dangerous products, which are, however, essential to the daily life of our fellow citizens, in particular for the production of drinking water, foodstuffs, active pharmaceutical ingredients or electricity.

We are aware of the responsibilities that this entails towards our various stakeholders, such as our employees, customers, suppliers, those residing near our production sites, or the local and environmental authorities that monitor our activities.

“Our commitment to CSR is the cornerstone of our strategy”

Our commitment to CSR is the cornerstone of our strategy; we are committed to voluntarily managing our environmental and social impacts, by setting ourselves very high standards.
We are therefore pleased to present the second edition of our CSR Report, operating as STOCKMEIER France, and no longer as Quaron.
Our change of corporate name in no way calls into question our CSR approach, which remains structured around 12 sustainable development objectives that we have broken down into three areas.

Our three points of focus:

  • Actions focused on the social and safety axis, with an aim to promote an optimal social climate and the best quality of life at work for our employees;
  • Actions related to the preservation of the environment, the aim of which is the continuous improvement of our processes in order to minimise our environmental impact, fight against climate change and reduce exposure to industrial risks;
  • Ethics and integrity commitments, to ensure that our ethical values are shared with our stakeholders.

Our progress goals in each of these areas were translated in 2022 into concrete actions, such as the launch of a plan to reduce our CO2 emissions following the achievement of an initial carbon footprint assessment, the continuous reduction of our waste volumes, a workplace harassment prevention plan, support for gender diversity within the company Management Committee, and the consideration of CSR criteria in assessing our suppliers.

We intend to pursue our CSR approach in the future, by implementing resolutely responsible practices throughout our areas of direct influence, including our employees, customers, suppliers and products, with the aim of achieving a positive impact on society and the environment.

The women and men who work for STOCKMEIER France are all strongly committed to achieving this goal.
