Die auf der Halbinsel Shandong in Anqiu City produzierende TTCA ist der weltweit führende Hersteller von Zitronensäuren und beschäftigt dort rund 1400 Mitarbeitende.
Die Distribution der STOCKMEIER CHEMIE und die RFI als global operierender Rohstoffeinkäufer passen gut in das Konzept der Chinesen, zukünftig mehr Zitronensäuren in ganz Europa abzusetzen. Bei einer Jahresproduktion von 200000 Tonnen liefert TTCA heute erst rund 30000 Tonnen nach Europa. Zitronensäuren werden beispielsweise in der Lebensmittelindustrie, bei Reinigungsmitteln und Kosmetika, bis hin zur Getränkeindustrie eingesetzt. Heute werden ca. 1,2 Mo. Tonnen pro Jahr hergestellt; vor ca. 20 Jahren war der Weltmarkt nur 40000 Tonnen gross.
